FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in recuperative heat exchangers. Ribbon heat exchanger, comprising a rectangular housing, including side and end walls, of which two opposite side walls have holes for inlet and outlet of heat carriers, a heat transfer surface located inside the housing, made of a wave-like curved sheet and forming a heat exchange matrix with alternating slit channels for the passage of the first and second heat carriers, has the design of the heat transfer surface and the side walls of the housing from one solid sheet, which straight end parts form oppositely located side walls with holes for inlet and outlet of heat carriers and edges in the direction between the end walls of the housing, are connected by welding with adjacent side walls of the housing, heat transfer surface by wave tops of curved sheet is connected to housing side walls having openings for inlet and outlet of heat carriers along their contact lines by means of welded rivets, end walls of the housing are detachably connected to the side walls of the housing and adjoin the heat exchange matrix through sealing gaskets. In addition, on two oppositely located side walls of the housing, having openings for the inlet and outlet of heat carriers, there are nozzles with a rectangular cross-section for the passage of heat carriers, and in the middle parts of the length of the alternating slotted channels of the heat exchange matrix for the passage of the first and second heat carriers, ribbed inserts are installed.
