FIELD: tolerance test of tension force of wires in process of manufacture of chokes, transformers, high-frequency inductance coils, relay windings, electromagnetic transmitters, converters of γ radiation to electric signal intended for X-ray plants of scanning type. SUBSTANCE: electric excitation current that presents rectangular pulses of current with frequency changing linearly is passed through wire placed in magnetic field. At same time pulses of current are fed into compensation resistor, difference of voltage drops across wire and compensation resistor is developed and amplitude of pulses of excitation current is adjusted by integral value of specified voltage difference. Amplitude values of difference are amplified and compared with threshold level. Tension force of wire is determined by average frequency of variations of difference voltage with amplitude exceeding threshold level. EFFECT: increased precision, reduced duration of test cycle and expanded measurement range of tension force of wire. 5 cl, 4 dwg
