FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining the number of serologic neutrophil test (SNT)-positive forms and neutrophil activation index of cytological activity index (CAI). In selecting and counting SNT-positive forms, colorless nitro blue, tetrazolium and phosphate buffer are added to the selected leukocytes in 1:1:1/2 proportion. More than 12% of SNT- positive cells having darkly stained formazan grains and neutrophil activation index being greater than 0.28 conditional units, gestosis is predicted to arise. 12.1-17% of SNT-positive cells being observed and neutrophil activation index being equal to 0.28-0.43 conditional units, light gestosis course during the first-third pregnancy trimester is to be diagnosed. 27-43% of SNT-positive cells being observed and neutrophil activation index being equal to 0.67-1.0 conditional units, severe gestosis course is to be diagnosed during the second-third pregnancy trimester. 18- 26% of SNT-positive cells being observed and neutrophil activation index being equal to 0.44-0.66 conditional units, moderate gestosis course is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: high accuracy and timely diagnosis method.
