FIELD: automated control systems, data transmission gears, information exchange between remote personal computers. SUBSTANCE: device for automatic switching of communication channels has K line units, where K= 2, 4, 6,..., ring register, unit of inhibition elements, additional inhibition element, OR gate, clock generator, monitoring receiver, additional monitoring unit and adjusting element. Each line unit incorporates input switch, information receiver, monitoring unit, test switch, digital-to- analog converter, register, inhibition element, additional OR gate, comparator. Technical result of invention lies in correction of ambiguity of comparison of quality of main and stand-by communication channels and consequently in more qualitative monitoring. Apart from this insertion of adjusting element makes it possible to take into account time interval of determination of quality of stand-by channel. EFFECT: provision for more qualitative monitoring of communication channels thanks to insertion of comparator and adjusting element. 6 dwg
