FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method relates to surrounding arrangement of mineral deposits. Collecting pits are used for storing waste resulted from drilling of oil and gas wells and they can be used in construction of hydraulic engineering structures. Realization of method implies ground levelling operations, construction of pit base and waterproofing of pit bottom. Aforesaid operations are performed simultaneously with spreading and compaction of sand-clay mixture with subsequent building of embankment. Application of aforesaid method allows for reduction of cost and period in construction of collecting pit. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
