FIELD: decontamination of liquid radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: radioactive solutions being treated are doped prior to ultrafiltration with poly(1.4-beta, D-glucosamine)- chitosan in concentration four to six times higher than uranium and plutonium content. Amount of extracted uranium and plutonium is up to 100 and up to 90%, respectively, due to formation of high-molecular complex compound. EFFECT: improved percentage of uranium and plutonium extraction.
