FIELD: gravel deposits of fine and thin gold; reworking of wastes of industrial processing of mining mass. SUBSTANCE: method includes removal of particles of dead rock by dry or wet sieving, stage- by-stage screening of undersize in succession in high-capacity hydraulic screens together with use of various calibrating sieves: taper polygonal sieves or parabolic sieves for control of time of passage of material being treated. Thickening of undersize of hydraulic screens is effected before magnetic separation. Oversize is dressed at the last stage of screening. Undersize and oversize concentrates and drain of thickening are fed to concentrator for obtaining heavy concentrate directed for magnetic separation; then clean mineral is obtained from magnetic fraction by magnetohydrostatic separation. EFFECT: improved quality of extraction of pure minerals or their concentrates, especially fine and thin, for example, gold and platinum. 9 cl, 1 dwg
