METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF DECORATIVE METAL COMPONENT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: following operations are envisaged in production of decorative metal component: manufacture of template, treating of die surface, performing of embossing operation, punching-out, forming and finishing of decorative component. For manufacture of template, initially contour drawing is made on translucent material. Treatment of die surface is performed after hardening it to 60-65 HRC with following transfer of drawing by photo method from template to surface and etching this surface to depth of 0.1-0.2 mm. Application of method allows for reducing labour-intensity of work. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
