FIELD: heat- power engineering; thermal power stations and boiler plants. SUBSTANCE: method includes desorption of carbon dioxide dissolved in water at contact of water being treated with heating agent which are fed to deaerator. Deaerated water is discharged from deaerator. Control of flow rate of heating agent fed to deaerator is effected according to magnitude pH of deaerated water. EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency and improved quality of thermal deaeration of water due to maintenance of optimal flow rate of heating agent. 1 dwg
