FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing desorption of carbon dioxide dissolved in water to be treated in vacuum deaerator; discharging vapors produced during deaeration process from deaerator by means of ejector to which ejecting medium is supplied; regulating flow rate and pressure of ejecting medium by one of deaeration process parameters, including predetermined pH value of deaerated water. Such method may be used in electric power stations and burner units. EFFECT: reduced operating costs and increased quality of vacuum desorption of free carbon dioxide from water.
