FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, provision for aromatizing space within container, such as soluble coffee can. SUBSTANCE: method involves moving succession of empty containers with open tops along conveyor below aroma dispersion device having at least one dispersing nozzle; arranging container with open top below dispersing nozzle and driving the latter to provide spreading of aroma inside container through open top, with container continuing its motion along conveyor. Aroma is spread in the form of drops covering inner surface of side walls of open top container. Dispersion process is interrupted the moment open top container is still under dispersing nozzle. Method further involves transferring container to filling device for charging product into container. Aroma is absorbed by product at process rate of 200-500 containers per min. EFFECT: reduced consumption of aromatic composition at commercial dispersion rates and improved quality of food product. 10 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
