FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out circular capsulorhexis. Hydrosection and hydrodelineation is performed. Working needle (concentrator member) of laser end piece having convexoconcave shape is introduced. The concentrator member is turned with its convex part facing cornea. Laser radiation impulses are produced with destroyed fragments being irrigated and sucked off. The concentrator member is turned and its convex part is introduced under the posterior iris surface or under the posterior surface of the anterior eye lens chamber. The concentrator member is turned with its convex part towards posterior capsule. Laser radiation impulses are produced. Eye lens mass is washed off using commonly accepted methods. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in destroying eye lens without affecting iris, cornea, and anterior and posterior lend capsule. 4 dwg
