FIELD: decentralized systems of production object heating. SUBSTANCE: gas air heater has burning device, chamber of gas burning and mixing of cleaned burning products with heated air, fan-blower secured to burning chamber, and heat-exchange apparatus in the form of bent tube external surface of which carries netted intensificators. End of heat-exchange apparatus is fitted with catalytic probe. Gas-supply pipe for delivery of limited volume of natural gas is positioned at catalytic probe input. Gas-burning device is made in the form of automated burner unit with multi-stage burning of gas. Due to installation of catalytic probe at end of heat-exchange apparatus, only burning products are subjected to cleaning, and required mass of catalytic probe is reduced.
