FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of amount of thermal energy consumed in heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: method metering consumption of thermal energy by heating device includes uninterrupted measurement of temperatures of heating device and of heated room in the course of certain time interval. Momentary values of thermal emf are continuously determined by difference of momentary values of these temperatures. These momentary values of thermal emf are converted to momentary values of recording current of discrete action integrator. Momentary values of recording current are converted to quantity of electricity consumed in time interval. Value of quantity of electricity is read by constant reading current of discrete action integrator. Consumption of thermal energy is found by values of reading time, reading current with allowance for heat transfer factor and area of heating device. Gear for realization of proposed method includes thermal converter, current-setting resistor, discrete action integrator based on superionic conductor connected in series and forming closed electric circuit and reading unit. EFFECT: increased accuracy of metering of thermal energy consumption, metering of thermal energy consumption without usage of power supply source. 2 cl, 2 dwg
