METHOD FOR ORTHOGONAL DISTRIBUTED TRANSMISSION- RECEPTION OF SIGNAL IN CELLULAR COMMUNICATION NETWORK USING CODE CHANNEL DIVISION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2145152 C1

FIELD: communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: during transmission method involves production of mixed combination of binary characters in each subsequent group, i.e. each subsequent group of binary characters contains set of all characters of sequential information packet, but in different combinations. Each character keeps its position in time interval of information serial-parallel packet of binary characters. Recombination of binary characters in information serial-parallel packet corresponds to recombination of binary characters in serial-parallel packet of orthogonal codes. After operations of addition, extension and modulation subsequent groups of extended binary characters contain equal set of binary characters of input information packet. Said subsequent groups are transmitted through distributed transmission channels. Thus, different distributed transmission channels output different combinations of same information flow of binary characters. This results in possibility to keep information even if signal drops simultaneously in all distributed channels except one, since each distributed channel carries complete image of information flow. During reception method involves recombination of serial-parallel packet of correlation coefficients in parallel groups, thus reversing re combination of binary characters of information serial-parallel packet during transmission. Space distribution of information flow, which is transmitted through distributed channels with independent delays causes significant decrease in probability of errors without alteration of signal-to-noise ratio at input of receiver. EFFECT: increased stability to noise, increased capacity of communication system. 8 dwg
