FIELD: mechanical engineering; storage and transportation of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed hopper has walls and bottom made in form of plates hinge-connected in pairs by upper edges and inclined in opposite sides. Plates can be moved apart to form slots in bottom. Device has also plate moving drive, screen with pins installed horizontally relative to bottom for horizontal displacement, and screen horizontal displacement drive. Flat double-horn pins of screen are secured on screen forming acute angles at base, with horns pointed in direction of horizontal movement. Screen is mounted outside the hopper under bottom for additional vertical displacement. Cutouts in number equal to number of slots are made in end face walls of hopper opposite to slots in bottom. Slots are provided with vertical shutters synchronized in operation with screen vertical displacement drive. EFFECT: decreased power taken for discharged of material from hopper owing to direct action onto hang-up material in hopper space. 4 dwg
