PORTABLE CAKED BRIDGE BREAKER-CLEANER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning inner surfaces of hollow articles; breaking caked bridges of loose materials formed in hard-to-get-at areas of containers or bins. SUBSTANCE: proposed caked bridge breaker-cleaner includes hollow drive shaft, two cleaning tools located symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of shaft; one end of each cleaning tool is connected with hollow drive shaft by means of axle; it is made in form of working member and plate articulated together; axis of articulation is perpendicular to longitudinal axis of shaft; other end of cleaning tool is connected with second cleaning tool by means of axle running perpendicularly relative to longitudinal axis of hollow shaft. Located coaxially inside hollow shaft and thrown into engagement with it is screw which performs longitudinal motion during rotation relative to shaft. Screw passes through hole found in axle connecting working members of both cleaning tools; screw is provided with limiter or projection at its end. Proposed caked bridge breaker-cleaner is simple in construction and in manufacture. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 4 cl, 2 dwg
