FIELD: manufacture of products from heat-insulating concrete both in civil and industrial engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat-insulating concrete comprises cement sand, foam-forming additive, and water. Concrete further comprises finely divided metallurgical slag which has Fe (II) content of not higher than 4%, chemical additive with pH of 5.5-6, aluminium powder mixed with foam-forming sodium stearate based-additive with density of 1.15-1.17 kg/cu. cm and synthetic fibrofiber, ratios of components being as follows, wt.%: cement, 43.0-46.2; metallurgical production slag, 12.0-14.4; sand, 18.0-19.0; sodium stearate based foam-forming additive with density of 1.15-1.17 g/cu. cm, 9.5-10.3; chemical additive, 0.4- 0.6; fibrofiber, 1.4-1.8; and water, 12.0-14.4. EFFECT: greater bending strength, higher porosity and improved sound-protecting properties of concretes and products made from thereof. 1 tbl
