FIELD: diffusion welding of various crystals for radio electronics, jeweler's art, optics and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: crystals are placed into vacuum chamber which is rarefied. Ions are implanted into contact surfaces of crystals to specified depth. Pressure is applied by way of three-axes controlled loading and crystals are heated by simultaneous action of electron beams. New centers of coloring are created with ion implantation of various elements into body of crystal at different levels having different properties after irradiation with electron beams. In process of diffusion welding electron beams act on crystal surface till preset coloring of it is obtained. Technical result lies in manufacture of crystals welded from two parts, as minimum, without separation boundary that is of optical purity having various hues.
