METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COOLING EQUIPMENT IN ENCLOSED LOCATIONS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2145470 C1

FIELD: cooling equipment primarily for telecommunications engineering. SUBSTANCE: displacing air stream and gravity air flow are combined and used for equipment cooling. Cold air coming from cooling device is spread at low speed, that is, it moves within room towards compartment containing equipment to be cooled. Upon entering compartments, cold air is heated due to cooling down heat- emitting parts contained in them. Then hot air is discharged through top parts of compartments and starts recirculating at low speed so as to avoid turbulence on air intake of cooling device. EFFECT: improved energy conservation and operating reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
