FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, vacuum cleaner engine assembly equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has nut feeding device adapted for automatic feeding of nuts to nut screwing station, nut gripping device which grips nut for further feeding it to engine shaft, nut screwing device for screwing nut onto engine shaft, and adhesive applying device for applying adhesive preventing self-unscrewing of nut from engine shaft. Nut is delivered from nut feeding station and positioned on engine shaft end by means of nut gripping device. Fan rotor is fixed on engine shaft by nut screwing device which drives engine shaft into rotation. Upon fixing of fan rotor on engine, adhesive applying device is driven for applying adhesive onto nut for preventing it from self-unscrewing from engine shaft. Automatic mounting provides constant tightening moment for fastening fan rotor on engine and, as a result, prevents self-unscrewing of nut.
