FIELD: general machine engineering, possibly manufacture of elongated screw pumps, particularly in petroleum and petrochemical industry branches. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for assembling and centering tubes for welding includes die and supporting plate. Die includes at least two parts detachable in horizontal plane, mounted on supporting plate and mutually spaced by distance multiple to pitch of n-start profile of screw. At least two stands are movably mounted on supporting plate. Said stands have upper surfaces in the form of n-start profile of screw. Parts of die are rigidly joined one with another in base of die. Die of holder may be in the form of rod whose outer surface is in the form of n-start profile of holder. EFFECT: improved design allowing to provide mutual arrangement of tubes with screw profile such as sections of screws and holders of elongated screw pumps at assembling operation. 4 cl, 2 dwg
