FIELD: mechanical engineering; elimination of toxic and radioactive emissions in automobile and atomic industries, as well as in metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: combined neutralizer has housing with outlet and inlet holes where units made from metal chips and activated carbon are placed with tubular catalytic reactor mounted between them. Metal chip unit uses copper and/or aluminium chips. At area where chips are placed, neutralizer housing has form of diffuser and space occupied by activated carbon is divided into sections by partitions located concentrically; this space is filled with carbon of different dispersivity. EFFECT: simplified construction; facilitated manufacture and assembly; increased service life. 4 cl, 1 dwg
