SUBSTANCE: sorption filter material is partially impregnated with 1- to 1.5% KI and/or amine; filter material consists of several layers; used as carbon-containing material of layers is carbonized carbon fiber fabric at surface density of 230 to 700 g/sq.m and diameter of fiber of 2 to 10 mcm; volume ratio of front and subsequent layers is equal to (1-3) : ( 2-4). EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of absorbing CH3I at low thickness of layer of carbon fiber fabric (and high humidity of air); enhanced efficiency of cleaning air of ventilation systems; reduced emissions of radioactive iodine; improved radiation and ecological situation. 2 cl, 4 tbl, 4 ex
