TRANSMISSION MECHANISMS FOR TRANSPORT FACILITY AND METHOD OF CONTROL OF THIS MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2145683 C1

FIELD: transport facilities; automatic transmission mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: transmission mechanism with automatic change of gear ratio includes combination of tooth groups, friction clutches with movable engagement mechanism, devices for application of opposing force and impact absorbing devices. Combination of teeth has form of differential, for example ensuring two different gear ratios in accordance with connected or disconnected state of friction clutches. Devices for application of opposing force ensure application of force to movable engagement member which is criterion of working parameter for selection of gear ratio. Impact absorbing devices are hydraulic, for example; they brake motion of movable engagement member between connected and disconnected states of friction clutches, thus excluding unexpected engagement or disengagement of friction clutches. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability. 34 cl, 5 dwg
