SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication equipment. The technical result is the higher paging efficiency and lower resource usage. For this a paging method, apparatus and system are presented as versions of the invention implementation. The paging method contains the following steps: the identification data of a group, to which the terminal belongs, is received. Using that data, a paging subchannel of the common control channel is determined. Then, the first paging request is sent along the said subchannel. The request contains identification data for the group, where the terminal belongs.

EFFECT: higher paging efficiency and lower resource usage.
