PICTURE DISPLAY DEVICE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for hanging pictures, plane tables, placards, drawings or maps mounted in frames or carcasses of different shape and made from different materials. SUBSTANCE: picture display device has hanger mounted on casing provided with stop arranged on nonstretchable thread so as to embrace casing. Stop has hollow stem positioned in hollow conical cavity with wider end directed downward, spherical members, resilient member and threaded cover positioned in bottom part. Spherical members are disposed in stem radial slots and coupled to casing and thread. U-shaped hanger is positioned on stepped part of casing and fixed by means of shaped nut on threaded part of casing. Each end of hanger has hook with opening for removable installation of spindle with retainers on their ends adapted for mounting of two picture frames hung in opposed relation. Display device may be employed during organizing of exhibitions of works of art, conferences and symposia where descriptive materials are widely used. EFFECT: reduced labor and time consumption, wider operational capabilities and simplified construction. 5 dwg
