FIELD: engineering of technical means for demonstrating paintings, drawings, posters and blueprints in museums, rented and specialized exhibition halls, open and closed pavilions.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, device contains at least one inextensible cord, hollow body with a stopper, one loop-shaped branch of inextensible cord, at least one insert, held in a recess on back side of upper frame fillet along symmetry axis of painting canvas. The insert is connected to loop-shaped branch on the end of inextensible cord. The device is equipped with an additional body and threaded lid positioned on single inextensible cord. Main and additional bodies and threaded lids on ends of inextensible cord form loops. The upper loop in each cord is positioned in an overhanging support mounted on the wall of exhibition hall at given height above the floor. In hollow rod, additional radial channels are made for positioning spherical bodies of large diameter with possible simultaneous interaction with body hollow and inextensible cord. Distance between spherical bodies in main radial channels and spherical bodies in additional radial channels is derived from expression L=2(D₂-D₁)/C, where L - remoteness of radial channels in hollow rod, mm; D₂ - diameter of spherical bodies in additional radial channels, mm; D₁ - diameter of spherical bodies in main radial channels, mm; C - taper angle of body hollow.

EFFECT: device ensures placement of large quantity of frames of monumental paintings on one pair of inextensible cords and guarantees operational reliability of the displays.
