APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING PICTURE CANVAS FIXED IN FRAME Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for displaying framed picture canvas. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has non-stretchable threads and hollow conical casing. Casing is equipped with blocking member, two spherical bodies, compression coil spring and washer. Spherical bodies are positioned in radial channels of blocking member, which is spring-loaded with respect to casing. First non-stretchable thread is positioned in axial openings of casing and blocking member and is oriented vertically or with slight inclination in space. Second non-stretchable thread is made in the form of loop, with ends of loop being fixed on casing surface. Casing has radially extending bosses with blind threaded openings and through channels for receiving loop ends, which are fixed by threaded stops. Lower part of loop-shaped thread is connected with inserts fixed in slots on rear side of frame molding in axis of symmetry of picture canvas. Apparatus is used in museums, open and closed pavilions or exhibition halls for displaying works of art. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities. 5 dwg
