FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting skin, separating cutano- aponeurotic flap and then making incision in periosteum and dura mater encephali in the region of lateral boundary of the greater cranial fontanel. The incision is continued along the coronary suture to parietotemporal suture and backwards to lambda-shaped suture and then to the transverse sinus along the lambda-shaped suture. When needed, the operation field is widened by continuing the incision forward along the lateral boundary of the greater cranial fontanel and downwards along the temporofrontal suture. The created duro-osteo-periosteal flap is laterally shifted. The cerebral intervention being completed, the duro-osteo-periosteal flap is placed on its original place and fixed with separate interrupted sutures on periosteum and the dura mater. The cutano-aponeurotic flap is placed on its place and the wound is sutured. EFFECT: lowered traumatic complications incidence.
