FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns surgery and can be applied for bloc resection of periotic bone. The scalp is incised twice with two sections, one extending from the middle malar arch perpendicularly to the skull base, and another - from mastoid. A blood-supplied osteoperiosteal-aponeurotic-coetaneous flap of calvaria is formed so that its lower edge forms the head of the bloc. The bloc resection is performed by saw cutting through the base of the middle cranial fossa, the channel of internal carotid, the periotic bone to jugular foramen. The flap is positioned on its place and fixed. It is followed with closing the defects of the skull base, soft tissues and skin of parotid-masseteric region with a vascular thoraco-dorsal flap.
EFFECT: method allows reducing risk of temporal damages and secondary liquorrhea.
