FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: extraintracranial microanastomosis or encephaloduroarteriosynangiosis is applied. A lower fragment of the muscle is brought through a 5-mm pre-dilated mill hole, laid on the other side from the microanastomosis passing through this hole and set in the dura mater defect. An upper fragment of the temporal muscle is fixed above the laid osteoperiosteal flap that is used to cover the mill hole.
EFFECT: method enables improving the blood supply in the ischemic cerebral area and creates conditions for consolidation of the bone defect edges.
