SUBSTANCE: invention relates to prevention of helminth invasions in agricultural animals and consists in at least single immunization of females with helminth vaccine before copulation and/or before the beginning of the third pregnancy month. Vaccine contains potential helminth antigen and antigen fragments, precursors, and functionally equivalent antigen derivatives and variants manifesting immunogenic activity with respect to one or more parasitic helminths. In particular, vaccine contains integral intestinal membrane antigen or enzyme or transport protein: H110D, H-gal-6P, O-gal-GP. Immunization of early phase-pregnancy animals allows "circumbirth growth" of helminths to be controlled and probability of infecting susceptible young animals to be reduced. Particular attention is paid on prevention of "circumbirth growth" of parasitic nematode Halmonchus in sheep and type II ostertagiosis.
