METHOD OF DIAGNOSING DEGREE OF EXPRESSION OF D SYNDROME IN DIABETES MELLITUS AND ATHEROSCLEROSIS PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: diagnostic methods. SUBSTANCE: sample of periphery blood from patient's finger is applied onto degreased object-plate and blood smear is prepared and stained with following dyes: orange yellow, acid red, and aniline blue. When examining smear on microscope with 400-fold multiplication, number of agglutinates is measured and, when it exceeds 5, severe degree of expression of dissimilated interavascular coagulation syndrome is diagnosed; when less than 5, medium degree; and, in absence of agglutinates but when single erythrocytes, "bundles", "coin columns", and "loops" of erythrocytes are present, mild form of dissimilated interavascular coagulation syndrome is stated.
