FIELD: vegetable oil production equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to body of working chamber of double-shaft auger-type horizontal press used for pressing out vegetable oil from oil seeds. Working chamber body is provided with sectional horizontally splittable sleeves which bear against internal surface of body. Each sleeve has internal cylindrical surface with guide line represented by enveloping line of two circumferences of equal diameter. Their centers are located at distance which is less than diameter of circumference but is larger than half of it. Body of working chamber is made up of two parts which are splittable in horizontal plane. Internal surface of chamber body is of prismatic configuration. Each sleeve is made up of two half-sleeves. External surface of each sleeve is prismatic in configuration. Horizontal plane of joining of both parts of chamber body and horizontal plane of joining of both half-sleeves are displaced relative to each other. Aforesaid embodiment of press working chamber body allows for simplified manufacture and affords more convenience in operation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 3 dwg
