FIELD: electronics, in particular, LCD screens. SUBSTANCE: within access interval Tr of line electrode or electrodes, method involves applying several additional voltage levels to column screen electrodes, including reference voltage V0, which is located between voltage levels of different signs with respect to V0, voltage levels which have different signs with respect to V0 and constant duration. Opposite sign levels are located at ends of Tr. order of levels in Tr is alternating for adjacent Tr intervals, adjacent column buses and adjacent frames. Also method involves shift of voltage pulses for groups of column electrodes. Control device has unit of transistors with similar values of output resistance. Compensation voltage levels applied to screen electrodes are independent from image. Shape of control pulses provides self- compensation of parasitic alterations of brightness in pixels. Two- line access is provided by generation of column voltage levels with basic and equalization components. Line and column voltage levels are equal to , where η is voltage tuning parameter, screen Nmax is not less than Nmaxo which is defined by control diagram.
