FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is preparation of new materials in the form of alumosilicate derivatives from 2:1 laminated clay minerals which are obtained by chemical modification of 2:1 laminated clay minerals by reaction with salt of formula MX wherein M is ammonium ion or alkali metal cation, and X is halide. The characteristics of the resulting materials are as follows: (a) signal of diffraction of X-rays of amorphous sample is evident, as wide peak in using diffraction of X-ray of powder from 22o to 32o and irradiation CuKα and (b) presence of predominantly coordinated tetrahedral aluminium.
