FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with process force of friction of burden against wall of stack is monitored and coefficient of active mass of burden materials is computed by balance of forces and is kept within limits of 0.30-0.60. Maximum productivity of blast furnace and low specific consumption of coke are achieved at minimal coefficient of relative consumption of energy for overcoming of friction force. EFFECT: possibility of control over blast-furnace melting over entire operation range from blowing-in to prevention of burden bridging-over under any melting conditions. 4 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
