FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be used in smelting of cast iron in blast furnaces. Blast-furnace smelting method involves loading of the charge containing agglomerate, pellets, coke nut of fraction 10–25 mm, manganese ore and skip coke, and its unloading into the throat zone by means of the cordless loader tray. During unloading of charge into zone of throat coke nut is located in hopper between layers of iron ore raw material, and at single-entry loading into lower part of hopper under coke nut 50 % of iron-ore materials are placed from total weight and 50 % above it, and in two-pot batch loading 40 % of iron-ore materials from their total weight and 60 % above it are placed in the lower part of the bunker under coke nut.
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of furnace operation, id est increased efficiency and reduced specific consumption of coke.
