FIELD: heat power industry, gasification and burning of low- grade fuel at thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: proposed process of stepped gasification and burning of solid fuel in air-slag melt is realized by injection of inclined jets of steam and oxygen blast into slag melt under excessive pressure, by mixing of melt with formation gas-saturated layer of heterogeneous melt that includes slag, coal and limestone, by provision of vortex and shaking motion in lower tier of blast and by subsequent reburning of formed generator gas under condition of circular motion in jets of secondary blast fed through nozzles of second tier located above which are positioned in furnace of boiler. Additional blast is fed into the latter through adjusted rotary nozzles of third tier lying above with provision for afterburning in space of furnace under condition of uprising vortex motion. EFFECT: provision for complete burning of solid fuel in slag melt by formation of any aerodynamics in plane of supply of jets of oxidizing agent. 1 dwg
