Abstract RU 2240472 C1

FIELD: power engineering; thermal power stations burning coals of all grades and qualities.

SUBSTANCE: during operation of power unit exhaust gases are discharged from turbine 7 to gas conduit 21. Desired gas flow to gas-turbine unit is controlled by regulator 26 and remaining gas is passed through line 25, while its valves 27 are held open, to bypass gas conduit wherein it is mixed up with exhaust gases of gas-turbine unit. Gas mixture is discharged through gas conduit 21, while its valves 27 are held open, to gas flue of exhaust-heat boiler and/or is passed over gas conduit 23 through gas nozzles 22 to molten slag of gasifying chamber 14. Optimal flow of exhaust gases through nozzles 22 is afforded by regulator 24. These gases fed to molten slag ensure actually ideal conditions in chamber 14 for heat and mass transfer and for contact between all components of melt including carbon with oxidant and also provide for maintaining constant temperature level, all these factors contributing to effective gasification of coal. Provision is also made for initial heating of slag in chamber 14 using heat of exhaust gases from has-turbine unit or heat of generator gas from gasifying chamber 14.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of coal gasification.
