FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: strain Streptomyces fradiae NITSB 99 is obtained by selection on agarized medium containing kanamycin (10 mcg/ml) and the following selection among Kanr-mutants the strains showing high level of activity of tylosin and its content above 90%. Strain shows stable high level of production of tylosin at fermentation in the presence of salt CaCl2 (0.2-0.3%) and produces above 90% of tylosin. At successive resowings in each 3 months on agarized medium CP-15 for 18 months the strain retains the main morphological and biochemical traits, high level of antibiotic formation and content of tylosin is above 90%. Strain is stored in collection of cultures NITS "BIOAN" and in collection of cultures of laboratory of producers of antibiotics GUP. Strain is used for industrial production of veterinary antibiotic tylosin. EFFECT: strain indicated above, high yield of antibiotic, valuable properties of strain. 2 ex
