FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention basically relates to installation and configuration of tubular link between bottom of water mass and vessel floating on water surface. Lifting unit is made up of pipe intended for transfer of fluid medium. Pipe is provided with first end adapted for location in direct nearness to sea bottom. Second end of pipe is adapted for location in direct nearness to sea surface. Pipe is made in spiral configuration or in flat cross-section. It can be also in cyclic wave-like configuration basing around longitudinal axis passing from first end of pipe to second end of pipe. At least one flexible component is provided in pipe working for tension. This flexible component working for tension is attached to pipe used for transfer of fluid medium at least at two points spread basically along line passing mainly in parallel to longitudinal axis. Longitudinal unit of lift has one or several flexible and preferably resilient components working for tension. Embodiment of lifting unit gives improved performance characteristics. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 15 cl, 8 dwg
