FIELD: concentration of gold and platinum placer materials and ores by gravity methods at concentration second stages. SUBSTANCE: concentrator has body, drive, separation chamber with surface of heavy particle precipitation, water supply system, vessels for collection of concentrate. The drive is provided with vortex exciter whose rotation axis is perpendicular to surface of heavy particle precipitation and oriented by center of concentration on surface of heavy particle precipitation. Separation chamber has a compartment for particles of mean density and a compartment for particles of low density with overflow threshold made concentric to walls of concentration chamber. Surface of heavy particle precipitation is installed at an angle to body horizontal plane.
