FIELD: gravity concentration of high-density metals in aqueous medium; mining industry. SUBSTANCE: concentrator has housing, drive, separation chamber with heavy particle sedimentation surface mounted at angle relative to horizontal plane of housing, water supply system and concentrate receiving reservoir. Separation chamber is provided with compartment for heavy particles, compartment for particles of average density and compartment for particles of low density with overflow lip which is concentric relative to walls of chamber; separation chamber is also provided with additional plane made over perimeter of separation chamber on side of sediment of heavy particles and mounted at angle relative to heavy particle sedimentation surface. Sedimentation surfaces are made in truncated form without reaching the wall of separation chamber. Drive is provided with vortex exciter.
