FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: process refers to production of isotropic electrical-sheet steel with thickness of 0.50 mm in rolls used to manufacture magnetic circuits of electric machines. Improvement of magnetic properties of isotropic steel is achieved thanks to selection of normalization temperature that takes into account content of silicon and phosphorus in steel. Temperature is found by equation t=675+[50 Si, %]-0.50[100P,%]2+10 C with content of silicon within limits 2.7-3.3 per cent and phosphorus between 0.03-0.08 per cent by weight.
