FIELD: methods of burning carbon dust. SUBSTANCE: carbon dust is fed by means of primary air in form of mixture of carbon dust with primary air; as a result, primary gas with combustible gaseous components is formed in zone of ignition. To reduced forming of NOx, average ratio of fractions of oxygen in primary gas and oxygen required for burning combustible volatile components is reduced through reduction of fraction of oxygen in primary gas and/or supply of foreign combustible gas to primary gas. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 6 dwg
