FIELD: optical systems. SUBSTANCE: reflector has flat reflecting members installed in rows and interconnected so as to impart a concave shape to the reflector by bending the members in rows. The member joints are made in the form of two non-adjoining recesses located on opposite surfaces. The members are positioned on a carrier made in the form of a base with a surface of a preset concave shape. Reflecting members may be attached to the base surface by means of adhesive or sealant. The base may have a duct receiving the device for producing vacuum between the reflecting members and base surface. Reflector may be provided with a corrective device installed in the base for fixing the moment of contact of the reflecting members with the base surface. EFFECT: enhanced rigidity of reflector, enhanced quality and accuracy of focusing at enhanced efficiency of use of incident radiation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
