FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: set-in pocket has finishing part attached by stitch along front edge of vertical or inclined pocket entrance to main part at right side together with pocket lining made as single part. Trim is attached by parallel stitch along rear edge of pocket entrance to main part together with pocket lining positioned at wrong side of main part. Space between stitches is dissected. Corner portions of recess and pocket lining slots are secured at wrong side. Pocket lining, fixed to lining impregnated with hot-melt glue at place adjacent to pocket entrance, is made U-shaped with bend oriented in direction corresponding to that of pocket entrance, from vertical to inclined direction relative to flange line. Total height H of U-shaped lining is determined from ratio of H=L+l, where L is length of middle bending line equal to length of pocket entrance plus 6-8 cm; l is depth of pocket of at least 10 cm; B is width of lining base equal to at least 2/3 the length of middle bending line L. Total width Z of lining includes allowance for bending of front and rear edges of main part recess together with finishing part. Corner portions of body are fixed in twofold manner. EFFECT: increased strength and wider range of usage of set-in pocket of such type. 2 cl, 7 dwg
