FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves connecting collar to throat; securing side stitches of warming layer and backing with top part of clothes. When underlayer is stitched around edge, additional liner is laid on edge, and when lower collar is stitched into throat, additional liner is laid on throat portion, and warming liner is simultaneously attached to mentioned additional liners and stitched together with these liners. Backing is simultaneously stitched to inner cuts of underlayers and to lower cut of throat liner without preliminary turning of article inside out. Stitch for attaching backing to inner cuts of underlayers and to throat part is edged. Method allows clothes assembling time to be reduced by eliminating multiple processes of turning article inside out and wetting and thermal treatment process, which is normally performed for imparting good appearance to article. EFFECT: increased efficiency by unified assembling process adapted for any kind of article, reduced labor consumption and improved quality of article. 5 cl, 4 dwg
